Armstrong Bell strengthens partnership with NEC Software Solutions
Since first supplying telecom services to the organisation in 2010 Armstrong Bell has significantly broadened the range of services it supplies to NEC Software Solutions, supporting their Diabetic Eye Screening programs in the UK and Ireland.
Working alongside Armstrong Bell we are continuing to improve patient services, while deploying a robust and secure infrastructure.
As part of a continual focus on improving patient experience ABL and NEC SWS deployed a state-of-the-art contact centre solution, introducing functionality such as NHS patient detail input, optimised routing and reporting and several other key enhancements, allowing real time resource decisions to be made.
In parallel with this upgrade ABL also moved the program delivery infrastructure into highly resilient hosted platforms and created bespoke software to streamline the screening service in Ireland, enabling expansion of advanced 3D imaging capability.
Carol Harrison Head of Patient Services at NEC Care said “The past two years have underlined the importance of patient outcomes. With the deployment of our new contact centre and hosting platform NEC SWS are ensuring no patient gets left behind. Working alongside Armstrong Bell we are continuing to improve patient services, while deploying a robust and secure infrastructure.”
Nick Lake Head of Sales at Armstrong Bell said “NEC’s passion has been inspiring for the ABL team and emphasised the importance of focusing on outcomes. While deployment went well, we are now focused on ensuring that all the benefits of the new platforms transfer to direct patient service improvements by working closely with the NEC SWS team”
