IT in odd places
11 March 2022
I am sure you enjoy it when a project comes along that's a bit different to your day-to-day. It's an opportunity to use your existing skillset and likely to learn something new at the same time.
We *love* that kind of work at Control and Shift and have had opportunities via our clients to work in some really interesting environments.
Examples include bus & coach depots, a nuclear power plant(!), heritage railway stations, a stockbrokers with real-time dealing, a waste recycling plant, full-size tour stage rehearsal studios, house builders and a marine repair workshop. Each one of those involved tests to our knowledge and skills that resulted in us gaining more insight into those industries and how they depend on their IT.
